Sorry for sitting on this update for so long guys, but I’ve been in a lot of pain lately and the doctors FINALLY figured out it was my gall bladder. I had that removed on 5/22 and have been recovering over the Memorial Day weekend. Yep, that’s right. While you were out swimming and having cookouts, I’ve been doped up on pain killers LOL Well, at least someone had fun over the weekend. At least Jimmy gave me some gratuitous nudity moments to cheer me up. Mercifully, the annoying pain is gone now, and I’m pretty much back to normal and completely PAIN FREE WOO HOO!!!

 

And so here’s the new update. It looks like Bob and Blizzard are really hitting it off now. I’m guessing they’ll get much MUCH closer as we go along.

Another Becoming Blizzard strip is up and running!!! I’ve added a couple of new links, so check those out, plus Blizzard’s profile now reads “GAY”. Yes children, he’s out to himself now. He’s got the picture. But what will he do with that knowledge next? (insert music cue here) You’ll just have to keep reading and find out folks!

Well after much delay here is the next strip. I’ve been slamming my head against the wall trying to install carpet in our bedroom, plus preparing for a closet to be built. (Yes, yes, I know I’m already out of the closet! But Jimmy’s clothes have to be hung somewhere)

 

Anyway, we are now at the point where Blizzard has accepted he’s gay, and per the fan mail, he’s going to date Bob. Originally, I had planned for Bob’s persona to be very very different. But that’s ok, I’m saving that characterization for a new character we will meet in the next tale. Yep, the next story is already planned (but not written out yet). The title will be “Daddy Dearest.”

 

So keep that fan mail coming Blizzard fans! I’m listening.

Greetings Blizzard Fans! Today is the day for Blizzard. All the roads have led him to this point in his life. He finally gets it.

 

In this mini-blog, I’m never sure what to say. I mean, really, who cares what crap is flying in my private life. LOL So instead of rambling, enjoy the current Becoming Blizzard strip.

 

No, wait… One last thing-Keep that fan mail coming folks. Let me here from you and what you think about the strip thus far.

Hello there Blizzard Fans! And so we forge ahead into our tale and find out a bit more about Bob. And so you know, I’ve added Bob’s stats to the “Meet the Bears” page.

 

Oh and lest I forget, I’ve updated the links page. First off, a few new additions: TubeBear, and Bear Pics. Fun sites! I’ve been on both, and have no complaints. And when you go to these new sites, be sure and say “Hi” to Forrest the web-master. And I’ve finally gotten all the broken links removed.

 

Ok anything else?... Oh yes! The green couch you see in the background of the last few strips is based on a real couch. We actually own an old couch like that. An old vinyl couch that looks right out of your grandmother’s house in the 60’s. Gag, that thing is HIDEOUS… yet so alluring LOL.

Well a new year, but so far a rough one. Hopefully these last two weeks are not an indication of the rest of the year.

 

Stress, stress, and more stress. Ick. So thus I didn’t get the updates done as I’d promised.

 

Anyway, we are rapidly approaching the moment of decision for Blizzard. Will he try to talk to Bob, or will he just let the moment slip thru his furry fingers? Something tells me he’s about to have his gay feelings hit him hard.

 

That’s called “building suspense” or “ramblings of the artist”, depending upon where you stand. (Hehehehehe!)

 

And as for this rumor that Blizzard is to be retired, it is only that. I’ve no plans to stop drawing the series. You keep reading, and I’ll keep drawing.

Happy Holidays everyone! The newest Blizzard strip is up and ready. Also we have two new Blizzard Bits added and ready to roll. Sorry it took so long, but MAN, holiday’s sure suck up your spare time!

Ok, so it took me longer than expected to post this new strip. BUT, it is now in glorious COLOR. Yes, kittens, Blizzard cartoons will now be done in color. I figured it will take just as much time to add gray tones, why not add color? And I gotta say, it looks pretty good!

 

And WHY you ask did it take so long to post a new cartoon? Oh geez, you want the whole list or just the top 10?

And here is the newest cartoon. At least I got this one up faster than the last one!

 

Now I am still getting messages from you guys saying that Blizzard Bits is not working. For those of you having this problem, PLEASE let me know what browser you are using and the error message you get. All my testing has been fruitless-I can not isolate why some of you get the error and some don’t.

WTF?!?!

Sorry Blizzard Fans, I’ve had more trouble than you can shake a stick at lately (whatever that means…)

 

Anyway, I’ve gotten a new pc to replace my old fossil. This new one has Vista… and you know the sob story from there. NOTHING would work with Vista. Well, actually the old scanner did work… then burned out. The new scanner I got wouldn’t work. Vista just laughed at my attempts to make it user friendly. And of course, files got lost in trying to transfer things over. I had several new Blizzard Bits colored and those disappeared off the hard drive...

 

But enough bitching!

 

Here is the next installment of the story Movin’ on Up. Hope you enjoy and I’ll post the next one ASAP. Oh and some of you fellas are saying that the Blizzard Bits links do not work. I’ve tested and retested and can’t find anything wrong. Let me know if it keeps happening.
